Delete your account and data.

The Herb Kitchen provides an in-app path to permanently delete your account and synchronized account data.

Deletion is permanent

Export anything you want to keep first. Removing local data or uninstalling the app does not delete the online account.

Delete from The Herb Kitchen

    Open The Herb Kitchen and sign in to the account you want to delete.

    Open Profile, then Account settings.
  3. 3
    Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.

    Review the consequences and choose Delete permanently.

The app signs the account out after the confirmed request. If the service cannot complete deletion, it reports that result rather than presenting a false success.

What deletion covers

Deletion is intended to remove the account, authentication identities, active sessions, synchronized profile and household data, meal and nutrition records, plans, pantry and shopping records, saved content, and other account-owned product data.

If community publishing is available, your profile and posts disappear and relationships and activity are removed. A recipe version another person already saved privately may remain without your active profile attribution and cannot be republished as your content.

Information that may remain temporarily

Limited records may be retained where required for store transactions, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Deletion also propagates through controlled backup and provider-retention cycles rather than rewriting historical backups immediately. The Privacy Policy explains these boundaries.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it through the app-store account that made the purchase to prevent a future renewal.

Cannot access the app?

Email support@theherbkitchen.app from the address associated with the account and request deletion. We may require a secure identity-verification step before acting. Do not include your password or sensitive health information.
